Hi friends,
I wanted to take a minute to share something that is really important to us at A Royal Remembrance.
Over the years, A Royal Remembrance has grown into so much more than parties and character appearances. Some of the moments that have meant the most to us have been the ones where we've been able to use what we have; our characters, creativity, space, resources, and amazing community-to simply help someone or make their day a little brighter.
As we look toward the future, we want to make that an even bigger part of who we are.
We have some pretty big plans for programs that will allow us to give back to our community throughout the entire year. Instead of relying on large donations from a handful of people, we're hoping to build a community of people who believe in what we're doing and are willing to help in a really small, simple way.
We're asking our friends, families, clients, and community members to consider giving just $5 a month, or a one-time donation of $60 for the entire year.
Five dollars may not feel like a lot on its own, and that's exactly the point.
If enough of us come together, those $5 donations become birthday celebrations for children in foster care. They become hot meals for our neighbors. They become art supplies, music and cooking classes, decorations for a school's graduation, support for a grieving family, and opportunities for people to simply come together and feel like they belong.
Here's What We're Working Toward:
Foster Care Birthday Bash
Once each month, we will host a special birthday celebration designed to make children impacted by foster care feel seen, celebrated, and important.
Free Monthly Community Events
Every month, we will provide a free event where individuals and families can enjoy activities, entertainment, creativity, and time together without worrying about the cost of admission.
Free Community Meals
Twice each month, we will provide complimentary meals to the public during our programs and community gatherings.
Free Art, Music & Cooking Classes
Creative and educational opportunities will be offered both online and in person, giving children, adults, and families access to art, music, cooking, and other enriching experiences at no cost.
The Fairy Godmother Program
Every student deserves to feel that their milestones matter. Through our Fairy Godmother Program, we will help schools in lower-income communities transform dances, celebrations, special events, and graduations with decorations and event support they may not otherwise be able to afford.
Funeral Ministry & Assistance
During some of life's most difficult moments, families shouldn't have to face everything alone. We hope to provide compassionate assistance to families experiencing loss, including practical support surrounding funeral and memorial needs.
Bereavement Meals
Food is one small way a community can care for someone who is grieving. This program will help provide meals and hospitality to families during times of loss.
Community Connection
At the heart of all of this is connection. We want to create opportunities for people to find friendship, resources, encouragement, creativity, celebration, and a genuine sense of belonging.
$5 A Month. One Year of Impact.We're not asking one person to fund an entire program.
We're asking a whole lot of people to help us build something really special together.
For just $5 automatically donated each month, you can become part of a community of sponsors helping us keep these programs free and accessible.
If monthly giving isn't your thing, a one-time $60 donation provides the same full year of support.
And At The End Of The Year, We Want To Celebrate With You.Everyone who supports our mission for a full 12 months, either through 12 monthly $5 donations or a $60 annual donation, will be invited to attend a special A Royal Remembrance Community Sponsor Thank You Banquet.
This evening will be our opportunity to bring everyone who helped make this work possible together in one room and show you exactly what your support helped accomplish.
We'll share the celebrations, meals, classes, outreach, stories, photos, milestones, and community connections that you helped make possible throughout the year.
But we don't want to only look backward.
We'll also share our vision for the year ahead—the programs we hope to expand, the people we hope to reach, and the new ways we plan to serve our community.
Most importantly, the banquet will simply be our chance to say:
Thank you! Look what we did together, and look at what we can do next.
